I know of 2 very good dealerships that treat their customers nicely and are good to work with. One is called A&T Subaru and Chevy. It is located near souderton/sellersville, PA. The other is called Becker Subaru located in Allentown, PA. Becker is where I got mine. They are also known to be the biggest Subaru dealership on the East coast. When I got mine in May. They had like 5 or 6 to choose from, and most were 5 speeds.

Thumbs up

I too will throw in my recommendation for A&T Subaru. They gave me a decent price when others were charging over sticker, they had inventory on hand, and the nicest car salesman I've dealt with (Dave Schimdt, in case you're interested). They also didn't hassle me about test driving, or any of the other crap that I've heard about. I dis-recommend Fred Beans Subaru; they had pathetic inventory (all autos) offered no test drive, and wouldn't even discuss pricing, even after I hinted strongly that that was the only issue preventing me from buying; they just let me walk out.

1. Bill Kolb Subaru, Orangeburg, NY - Arrogant Stalkers
2. Feders Subaru, Middletown, NY - Liars
3. Ramsey Subaru, Ramsey NJ - Don't know if their ass has 4 drs or 2.
4. Lester Glen Subaru, Toms River, NJ - Show as a CRX HF up a hill.

SI Subaru in SI cut Speedbuggy a great deal as well as another i-clubber. Call Mark Jerrick (and only talk to him) 718-979-9595 and he'll give you an honest up front # w/o any add on fees etc. Tell him mike sent you and he'll do good by you.

Default Rafferty

I have bought subies from Rafferty in Newtown Square, PA and have absolutely no complaints. Ask for Ed Osborne or Bob Rafferty. If you tell them that Bill McMichael sent you, they may give you a deal.

The guys at Matt Slap Subaru (have to love that name) are a bunch of pricks when you are negotiating, but I got my RS for a song.

Default Rafferty

I went to Rafferty to buy mine and got so pissed off that I would love to throw some negativity their way. I have to admit, they do sell their cars at a decent price, but I was not impressed with their staff, or their trade quotes. I dealt with two people there and neither had any idea about what they were talking about. The one girl came on a test drive with me (I think the back seat got a little wet) We went through a construction zone and I was whipping around corners, trying to get the feel of the RS. Well, I was ready to buy, and then I got the quote for my 92 Eddie Bauer Explorer. It was embarrassing. Concordville Nissan/Subaru on RT 202 gave me $1200 more for my truck and gave the car to me for less than $200 above invoice. I had a great time dealing with them, and they continue to give me good service. Talk to Mohammed.
