Actually for 07 I'm thinking of making it more like a Gumball Rally type event. With catering/DJ/etc each night at the hotels, Logo Hats, T-shirts, bags etc.

does ANYONE have a 1999 2.5RS STOCK INTAKE SYSTEM kicking around they can bring along that i could buy from them?

I need one for Samans new car and am having ZERO luck finding one. It HAS to be a 99, nothing else works. ive tried.

Farabomb? Paisan? anything kicking around the shop??

i would be super stoked if i could track one down. the AEM hackjob on the car is disgusting and not running 100% perfect.

ive got some slightly bad news.......i was trying to secure an american cancer society sign we could use for a couple of group pictures. well, they are not "hosting" the event so we are not allowed to use their logo or a sign. oh well, it didnt hurt to ask.

Aight peeps...looks like I am officially going! Money is mad tight, me being jobless, but I've managed to get enough scratch together to make the trip. I'll be codriving with Mark, what I need is floor space to sleep at the hotel with whoever can offer it gratis. I hope I get some good pics this year...shooting will be my primary goal this year once again.

I'd like to come on this trip as a co-driver. If I could hook up with someone who already has a room setup I would split the costs. Im not 100% but will know for sure by the middle of next week.

Mitch

If I go I have a CB and antenna that someone could use.

Well looks like we'll be running the Team IAC Support Vehicle for the event. So anyone who has any specific items you think we need to bring let us know. We'll be bringing our usual track-fix-spares in the Armada. Also we'll have spare wheels w/tires, floor jack, jack stands, tools etc.

Hey Mike-

Are you bringing a come-a-long and some sort of Jumpstart? If not, I can bring them with me. Figured if you have it, it's that much more room in the back for me.

BTW, are you having problems with the 48hrs06 website? I haven't been able to access it for a couple of days.

I'll see if I can get an inverter to run the electric impact gun. I'll have a tow strap but the more the better. Anyone who wants to in unload bulky stuff should be able to into the A. Anyone have a plastic shovel? That could be useful. I hopefully will have the site up tomorrow. My buddy has been away all weekend so he couldn't reboot it.

if a car gets stuck in snow, then Yellow Kinght shines his lights to aid in seeing the dig-out, all the snow will melt and it will end up in a flood.

i'll grab my tire plug kit again.. and maybe my impact gun with 2 charged batteries and an impact 19mm deep socket.

Yeah anyone who has tow-straps grab em that way we can yank anything out with the A. I figure we won't need a winch or come-along since I can tow about 3.5 subarus out with the A. Hee hee.

I've got BOTH an inverter AND a cordless impact gun. I'll bring 'em.
