Its a crappy "vacuum fan" hooked up to a filter. its costs so much, so that if an idiot bought it the seller would be $600 richer (scammer). Stay away from it as it'll do nothing but choke your engine as it will not flow enough air to feed the engine.

They did make power with a leaf blower on a Civic in a video I've seen lol. If it worked all the time and didn't sound retarded (like a hairdryer), I'd say it may actually work. I'd say that the restriction it created would negate any part-time power gains. There are some that are made from a motor similar to a Roto-Zip, which are extremely torquey, rev instantly, and will run at something like 35,000 RPM's. If it didn't twist your intake piping off of throttle body when it kicked on, it might actually work. I can't help but imagine what would happen if a fan blade broke off or something...

The only electric turbo that actually works is a new product from Garrett: http://www.popularmechanics.com/auto...tml?page=3&c=y

There's another company that uses [I think] three starter motors to run a full-size supercharger, but it doesn't look any easier to install/maintain/run than a regular supercharger. You even have to have extra car batteries to run it, even though it only runs for short bursts.
