22611AC700 is an STi ECU used from 10/95 - 8/96. So yeah that would make it a Version 2 ECU.

Kinda need help finishing the swap
hey guys, (Post cherry popped)
I just bought a 05 STI with a Version 8 Spec C JDM 2.0, pretty sweet so far, still working out the bugs though, maybe somebody has an idea.
Situation: Car driving now in limp mode, Full JDM engine and transmission, intake and CPU USDM, harness 8500 redline. CEL from drivers side Cam position sensor. so far, the tune shop thinks the cams are similar to the wrx cams, and dont have the notched area on the intake cam for the sensor to pick up. I have no idea as this is my first experience with subarus. that cam sensor has been shaved, not sure why, but I think to sit lower in the engine.
does anyone know anything about these cams, and if the cam sensor on the cam(not the gear) will pick up correct cam angle?
Unless I hear different, the tune shop is going to pull the engine and try to do a cam swap to the USDM STI cams, tried turning it off in the ecu, but the car wouldn't start, so it's on, making a CEL, but disconnected.
Or any other ideas??????
