Anyone near the border! Update/Status?
Anyone live near the border? I was to be heading to Queens University/ Kingston area this weekend but Im not sure if I will be able to cross and I've heard there are huge lines or waits to get in? I will be following North US I81 to the border, where I would pick up the 401West. I would be crossing from NY. Any info or places I could call to check on the status of the border?
Thanks guys, I'll take as much info as anyone has! Suby Dynamic Motorsports

I know in pembina they are taking up to 2 hours per truck, and about 1/2 hour per car, huge delays.

They seem to be searching all cars coming into Canada, so you can imagine you'll be sitting and waiting for a while......

Wait a minute...someone go look at that too. Im coming from the US towards the 401. So from what I see, it is normal. Yeah, i may get serched going into Canada but there are no backlogs. Just backlogs coming into the US? right?
Maybe I will have a vacation afterall.....? suby |

I'm here in Windsor and as of yesterday the wait to get through customs was around 3+ hours. I'm not sure if they're still doing this but what was happening was that Americans in Canada could get back into the States and Canadians in the States could get back into Canada but they were turning away alot of Canadians trying to get into the States and vice versa. I'm not sure if things have changed since yesterday.
