for just the legacy/outback wagon.

that rules out 95% of the people here.

What he said.

Woo, I guess for the 5 people on this board that have those cars and care. You'd think an established company like JL would get a clue that impreza owners would probably yield better sales....

Better luck next time...

Ummm...there's a lot of people on this board who have the new model Legacy's...especially the GT's. And frankly...many of them are of a higher economical class than your typical Impreza owner...and more likely to be able to afford the higher costs of the stealthboxes.

This seems like a reasonable idea to me.

i saw the stealth box at the CES show and they had a semi fixed up legacy wagon... it's pretty clean and the fact that they were using the stock head unit to power the xm radio and the ipod integrated in the cup holders was pretty interesting. but then again JL is just to much for what they offer.

I would easily hand out my hard earned money for a stealthbox. Not only do they fit well, JL goes out of their way to make sure they sound fantastic too.

...grumble...lucky leg owners...grumble.

Maybe...maybe not.

next time try looking at the site.

Look at the FAQ, I posted links to various solutions and went with the WickedCAS fiberglass as I hate "boxes" and wanted my trunk so the spare tire thing was out. Pricey but even though I am not a Legacy owner( ), I can afford it

Manville Smith (VP Marketing JL Audio) owns a Legacy GT Wagon, and he had this to say about a Stealthbox for the Imprezzas.

We did SB's for the Civic Coupe twice (both flopped), VW Passat (flop), Nissan Maxima (flop). There have been a few successes, but they are outweighed by the flops.
