Default OBX EL header.

I just put the OBX EL header on, and raced an event on sat with it. I was not happy with the fitment. It did not go on without a major fight. Also the rear O2 sensor had to be removed due to it touching the drive shaft because OBX decided to put the bung directly on top of the resonator pipe. THe sound is nothing like a subaru and I am still getting use to that. I am subaru lover and love the boxer rumble. But the benifits I believe outweigh the downsides. The car revs to redline with no hesitation at all. Smooth althe way up. Where there use to be lag it is gone. I am pleased with the results and will have to get use to the sound. I might try a different cat back as the Apex-i N1 really gives the higher pitch sound.

Thats my take on the OBX EL Header.

Thanks

Josh

Get a HFC welded in place of the resonator in the track pipe, and get a 3ft resonator welded into the mid-pipe. I did that, and i love the way it sounds now.

yeah I really like how the car accelerates on command in any gear, all the way to redline. Make the car very fun to drive.

may i ask what diameter your apexi n1 catback is? that might be contributing to the 'smooth to redline' effect.
