Default what do you recomend?

i want to buy some tires that are cool for driving in wet conditions but also that perform really well too! in addition i also want to be able to drive my car in some dirt/gravel roads and i was wonderin what tire would fit on my stock rimz. i have an 04 STi

Falken 451 all the way. They are great in dry, and stellar in wet. If you drive in the dry, and hit a wet patch or trickle of water, you can keep the same speed without slipping. They handle standing water very well. I used to slide intentionally in the rain on freeway on-ramps and such because they are 100% predictable and so forgiving.

They have stiff sidewalls, and wear very well. I drive canyons to work every day, hard, and after 13,000+ miles had more than 50% left. And they're cheap.

The ONLY drawback is they're a bit loud, but I bet quieter than 070's.
