Cool Thinking about a Legacy Turbo

The current state of the economy is making very hestitant about dropping over 20 large on a new WRX. So I went looking for alternatives and stumbled across the older Legacy Turbo sedans and wagons. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction where I could get more info on these.

Here all the info I found so far:
1) The turbo sedan is also called the "Sport" sedan, while the turbo wagon is simply that.
2) The turbo wagon is not available in 5 speed.
3) The wagon is only available in 1993 and 1994. And are extremely rare!!

Couple questions I have:
1) Are there any FAQs or pages dedicated to this car?
2) Are there any known problems or pitfalls I should look for?
3) What mods are available for the sedan or wagon. IE suspension, exhaust, etc.

Thanks all

The wagon is actually called the Touring wagon.

Dave's Legacy Central.. best possible resource for BC, BF Legacys..

I had a 94 Sports Sedan 5sp, didn't have any problems with it since i didn't own it for long before i totaled the car. However, looking at another 92 Legacy turbo 5sp sedan right now.. great expierience owning the 94 car, so i want another one!!!

Known problem that every one seem to have.. Sunroof leak!!!!

Turbo seem to last very long on these cars, Dave's page also explained a bit about a problem common on the 4AT transmission, but doesn't affect the 5 sp i believe.

Join the BC-BF group on yahoo egroups to find more info about that car.. we have lots of info about moding.. etc there.
