Default 02 wrx oem fog light covers

I was wondering why the oem fog light is so expensive on subaru genuine parts? can anyone post a link for the clear fog light cover?

If you so choose, you could substitute the OEM lamp with a pair of Hella FF500 lamps. You might have to make an adapter to allow for the lamp to be angled up just slightly.

The OEM lamps are expensive because they are designed specifically for the 2002-2003 models.

Thanks for the response. Is there anywhere else to get the covers? Some idiot at my work backed into them and broke my bulb and cover! Douchebag never even left a note.

If you are referring to the glass lens, that is not available as a separate part. Subaru only sells the complete lamp assembly.
Keep an eye on the NASIOC classifieds, occasionally there will be some bugeye fogs for sale although they don't come up as often as they used to. IIRC a decent price is $50 apiece/$100 pair.

Thank you for all the information. Really appreciate it.
Is it number 1 or 8 on this link?

#1 is the complete fog lamp assembly.
#8 is the plastic cover that goes in front of it.

So the plastic lense goes over the glass? Little confused about number 8

No #8 is a solid plastic cover painted body color that goes over the foglight.
Your only option, if you want to repair the broken glass lens and keep the OEM fogs without paying the $$ to Subaru for a new one, is to find another stock fog for sale.
Here is a current part-out thread with some fogs for sale-
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...2746383&page=5
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...&postcount=105

Note I am not endorsing this particular seller, just providing the links for reference. A search of the classifieds may turn up more.
Also note that if you are purchasing only one fog light to replace the broken one instead of a complete pair, you need to make sure you are getting the correct one. Left and right (driver and passenger) side fogs are different.
