Post This was fun :D

Last night comming back from skiing I was coming down I-90 when I closed in on a car in the left lane going about 55mph. In typical WA fashion the other lanes had cars going at the same speed. I gave this guy a couple minutes to see me, but finally flashed the beams once. The car moved over and as I passed I noticed it was a totally riced (hope I'm using the term correctly) out Civic. The driver immediately dropped in behind me so close that I didn't see headlights. Kinda of a how dare-you-pass-my-machine attitude. Not liking this I dropped the throttle and watched that he didn't do something stupid. Within 3 seconds a gap opened and quickly grew. I kept the hammer down for I figured I was probably going 85mph, but I looked at the speedometer I was at three figures. NICE! I slowed down to a more reasonable speed and drove the rest of the way with a grin on my face and never saw the Civic again. Gotta love the GT

I've been feeling that with my XT6. I was getting on the Jersey Turnpike the other day and all of a sudden I was at like 98mph when I thought I was at like 65-70 tops. I'm going to get me a ticket with my new XT6... But it'll be fun.

Gotta love it. That happens out here in PA all the time. Except it's usually rusted out minivans or beat up pickups doing 50 MPH in the passing lane, matched speeds exactly with the car in the right lane. Thankfully, a law was passed a couple weeks ago making it a legal requirement to drive right, pass left. Yay! Of course, it'll be years before anyone on the road hears about the law or bothers to comply.
