I ordered mine from subarugenuineparts.com
Got the right part the first time, swapped them out easy. OEM is the way to go. |

do you know what caused the o2 sensor to go in the first place? they rarely go buy themselves...
if you replace them without finding out the problem, youll just be buying more a few days later. |

is your RS stock?
im my 10+ years of working with subarus ive maybe seen 1 or 2 O2 sensors that went bad by themselves. im not saying that you are wrong, subiegal, im just saying that maybe theres something you dont know... i dont know your experience as a mechanic. (i.e. 9 times out of 10 it's a coolant leak that is to blame.) maybe its just how hard you treat your subie? |

yep stock.
read again... the sensors were replaced under warranty ummmmmmmmm maybe... the "faulty" 02 sensor is why subaru issued a RECALL for them for the RS' do ya think? maybe... i dunno... could just be a lucky guess being that i work for subaru and all.... seriously. subaru issued a recall, technical bulletin on the RS front 02 sensors now, they are replaced with a new, better, superceded part if under warranty, it's done for free if out of warranty, it's about a $60 part... but what do i know I'm just a girl. |

Also, These cars run pretty rich. Rich conditions usually lead to dead O2 sensors

I got mine from the local dealer. They were competative price wise and they were in stock. Also, if you haven't changed the front 02 sensor yet get the crow-foot socket for it. There really is no room for the deep well socket.

There was a suspect batch of O2 sensors in 2000 and some years around that. I received a notice in the mail and the dealer changed mine. Now with 100,000+ miles on the replacement and running as new. Look in the peaty arcives to see the list of TSB and for what and for what years.
