Super Bowl XL Most Valuable Player Hines Ward of the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers displays the Pete Rozelle trophy as he stands with a 2007 Cadillac Escalade, his other award for being named the Super Bowl MVP, Monday, February 6, 2006 in Detroit. Cadillac, the official car sponsor of the Super Bowl, annually awards the Super Bowl MVP with his choice of a Cadillac vehicle.

Weird. The one they had on the field was black, not white. It'd make more sense to have him pose next to that one, no?

Oh, and I'm amazed that they still make vehicles with a freakin' column shifter!

XLR's period are badass. Just be glad the Sixteen wasn't on his choice list, if he didn't pick that well.. I'm sure people would be waiting in line to chop his head off.

I got to beat on an XLR at a Lexus test-drive day, and I wasn't terribly impressed with it. It didn't feel as fast as it ought to have, and, IIRC, it felt very flexy, with lots of dash shake. And then, about halfway through the day, the top on it broke and they had to drive it off to get a new one.. (it took them about 20 minutes to get it to that point, but the trunk just wasn't coming down)
