Default HELP! smell at idle and smoke

hey guys, i've got an 05 RS and when im at idle at a stop light ect, you can smell a burning plastic/rubber type of smell. also last night, when i parked after driving 30+ miles a noticed white smoke was coming from under the car. i have full oil and coolant. does anyone know what it might be? im taking it to the dealership later today. what could it be? fan belt? timing belts?
Thanks,
Greg

Did you track down where the smoke was coming from? That'd help with diagnosing. Maybe one of the belts is too tight? Did you drive over any rough terrain, through any puddles or anything like that lately? Any changes at all to the car right before this happened, or was it out of the blue?
