Default Brake part number for 02 RS

I have an 02 Rs and I am having a hell of a time locating the correct part number for front brake pads. Everytime I go to an auto parts store, they give me either a wrx pad or something else entirely. I've been to Napa, Advance and National. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And the WRX pad doesnt fit? I know the 2001 2.5RS calipers were the same as the 2002 WRX calipers, just the bracket is different. Curious that the 2002 RS would be different.

Us 02 NA folks got the new caliper (and bracket) design. The 02 and early 03 wrx's have "the old" design, which is the same as the gc bits. Maybe try asking for 03 or 04 wrx pads. You want the pads with the smaller tabs.

Also, check the brakes and suspension forum. It has been well covered there and you can find the right part#s there too.

Chad

edit: a quick search found these
