Flashed a p0244 once yesterday and again today. After some reearch I have come to the conclusion that I need to get the LWG map. (I am using AP)

Where can I find the LWG map for my 2006 5MT WRX?

I am not sure becasue I haven't found the map but I am led to believe that it is a real time map. Fom what i understand base maps are better. Are they?

Will this map casue me to lose some performance over the regular stage 2 93 octane base map?

I would call cobb, you should NOT be getting that code. I don't believe there is a LWG map available for the 06's yet. How much boost are you getting?

I just got off the phone with cobb. Basically they told me to clear the code and see if it happens again. They told me the way i was driving the car when it hapened (wot 5th gear low rpm) was putting to much load on the car. Said that turbo motors aren't meant to be driven like that. Hope it don't happen again.

Can anyone explain what they mean by putting to much load on the car means? I have an idea but not sure if its correct.

I was driving with the AP and monitering boost in 5th gear wot i got 17.6 it might have even climbed higher but i let off the gas. I should not be boosting that high right?

The more throttle you put down, the more boost you will see (to a certian point) If your straining the motor too much (legging) the motor that's not good for any motor.

For example - -Instead of WOT in 5th @ 80 KPH, downshift to 4th or 3rd...easier on the motor.

yea that's too high for that motor/turbo combo.

You need to learn around driving with a turbo. Instead of just romping on the gas at low RPM, ease into it to let the boost control actually control the boost.
