Default Replace 2010 Wrx 5mt or do 6 speed swap

So I have a 2010 wrx sedan and I got it back from the Subaru service center and they told me it has a whining/humming noise, I should replace my transmission. The car has 80xxx miles, I don't if I should just replace it with another 5Mt or do the 6 speed swap.

P.S I DD it and want to reach 400 hp

I'm pretty much on the same boat as you except I have a 2011. It really comes down to how much u want to invest in the car... If you have money for the 6speed swap, then that's the best option since the 5mt in the wrx probably will not hold up if your goal is 400hp.

I'm also debating if I should just part out and trade it in for a 2018.
