Default Need pics/width measurements of 215/45/17's on 04 STi 17x7.5 BBS wheels

225/45/17 RE070's won't fit with my drivetrain/suspension/chassis setup (04 STi drivetrain, Prodrive WR Bilstein struts & P1 springs, 01 RS Sedan).

I want to see what 215's look like stretched onto these tires and if the stretching is apparent. I doubt it will be.

I rough-measured the RE070's as they are mounted on the 04 bbs wheels and this is what I came up with:

Sidewall to sidewall: 22.5cm
Tread width: 21cm

I think if I can shave a full cm off of those #'s going to a 215, then I'd be golden.

Can anyone running 215/45/17's do some rough measurements for me, or point me to some info?

Your re70s are wider than most 225s remember.

i had 225 FK451s on my 8" bbs and they were def narrower then the RE070s that were on there.

if you can find a wider 215 or a narrower 225 you should be in the clear.
