Question Eibach 0.75in or 1.2in

Went to check how much a local shop charges for eibach springs for the GT and was told also that it would drop the car by 1.2in. But Mike at SPD says that it would only do 0.75in for the car.

Whats UP?

Are the "SPD/Eibach" different from the "Eibach" that the local guy quoted from the 2000 Eibach Catalog?

Whats the mistery!

I believe Mike was getting the springs from Europe where they offered the springs for both the Legacy and Impreza, because Eibach never offered them over here before for Subarus so they may indeed be different springs.

Actually, Eibach will be offering springs for the Impreza and Legacy line-up soon. The springs are slated for a March 1, 2000 release, and we hope to be the first to carry them. Also, I was informed that the springs would lower the car approximately 1.3".

Shik is right. SPD got different Eibach springs for Legacy. It was especially made by Eibach in Germany for Prodrive. It lowers the car 3/4 ". I just installed them yesterday with KYB GR2 struts. 0.75" drop is not noticible. My car looked the same with the stock springs. If some one is thinking about getting these springs to get a lowered look, that might not be the good idea. Performance wise they are great.
