Question Which one, Legacy L or OBS MY02

I am new to this forum.
Trying to decide to which I should buy MY02 Legacy L with A/C in 5 speed or OBS in 5 speed in the fall. The car will be use for commuting and fishing, camping on weekends and holidays.

What is your opinion ?

Really just depends on what you want. They both have the same motor/tranny, so you just need to decide if you want big and comfortable, or smaller and faster.

Quality wise, there really isn't a difference, IMO.

The Legacy has 4wheel disk breaks, but is larger and possibly heavier. OBS has ground clearance and would probably me more fun to toss around.

Legacy STi L

For a "family" vehicle the Legacy fit our needs much better than that of the Impreza. I am talking about camping, long family road trips, throwing the kid's wagon and diaper bags in and going out for the day to the park. The Leg offers more car than that of the Imp. As far as my next car...that might be an Imp, but it will be my car, not a family vehicle.

Wagon everytime if hauling gear is your issue. Although the sedan has a big trunk, the wagon will swallow mountains of stuff.

High eyepoint or low is a preference really of the driver (s).
