Default Opinion needed for spending $2500

I have a 98 2.5rs dohc...and have $2500 to burn....i'm already running a Nitrous express 50 shot...but want something thats constantly always there....i was thinking of the following....
Force Induction
1. Ludespeed Stage 1 kit for $2400
2. Asr Stage 1 kit...?
3. Cobb Tuning Cams-$800 for two cams..

What other options do i have???

The DOHC engine in the 98's don't take well to forced induction.

$2500 will not get you a reliable turbo setup. What about sending your heads to Cobb for a thorough working over? In combination with their spicy cams you will probably be quite pleased. I assume you already have a fuel computer since you have nitrous. If not, you'll need one to properly adjust fuel delivery with the improved air flow.

If turbo is the long range plan, why not a TEC II? Then you can just tune it now, get used to it, add boost later. That'll give you time to scrape together cash and knowledge for everything else you'll need.

I agree, get an aftermarket ecu, doesnt have to be a Tec, although that is a nice option. A Wolf runs about a 1,000 less in the end, and I believe Haltechs are cheaper too.
Also dont forget to get some gauges
Oil Pressure,
Boost (if you know youre going FI)
or A/F instead of boost?
